WebSurv Demo
Welcome to the WebSurv demo. |
This demo is designed to demonstrate the features
of WebSurv. You're actually running a survey project now so everything you see
is being produced by WebSurv. But don't consider this a typical survey as real
surveys would have a consistent look
and feel from page to page. The purpose of this demo is to show some variation
in what can be done rather that what any one survey should look like.
In addition to showing variation in layout, we have also incorporated into this
demo the ability to show how WebSurv reacts to certain data entry errors so watch
for distinctive boxes with our logo which give instructions about error checking.
First of all, just what is WebSurv?
WebSurv is a high-end Internet survey tool designed for complex market research quality surveys.
- Anyone can put together a simple one-page survey with an HTML editor.
But if you have a serious survey, you'll need a lot of features that aren't in
an HTML editor. They're all right here in WebSurv.
WebSurv is a server-side product which does not use Java and does not use "cookies".
- This means it will run with virtually any browser without concern for client-side
configuration issues. Even if respondents have an older browser, have disabled Java, and
have disabled "cookies", they can still take your survey without any degradation.
- It also means fast response. Each page is generated "live" on the server with
the most efficient HTML coding with no additional scripting which can increase page
size and slow down page loading.
WebSurv has a full range of survey features required for high quality market research.
- This means you can do skip patterns, follow-up questions, "other attachments",
random rotation of questions and answer choices and you can require answers to
any questions, specify valid numeric ranges of answers, require that "please specify"
questions be answered, require valid responses to ranking questions, and much more.
- You can customize error wording to ensure the most appropriate communication with the
respondent to assure correct responses.
- You can assure data integrity without extensive back-end data cleaning which
simplifies the analysis stages.
